I'm a gardener and I have started a company I am doing really well privately last month I have picked up 4 gardens on recommendations but I would like some commercial grounds maintence contracts aswell. I'm just unsure how to go bout getting them example factorys buildings pubs etc. I just dont know where to start and what about sub contracting off the council for grounds maintence and gardening do they have a shortlist of contracters?

Maybe you could contact say 20 Commercial Propertys that you would be intrested in doing??

You could give them a call introduce yourself etc or go face 2 face & see how you get on.

Hi,

In my experience the best way to get more business when you are at the start is to go door to door. As TheGuru says maybe try 20 that are local to you first. If you can get a recommendation letter or testimonial from one of your existing clients that might also be helpful.
