I started entering my accounts into TAS Basics 6 hours ago and still can't get my head round this :|
Income from work: 1869.94
Cost of sales: (1205.06)
Income less cost of sales: 3075.00

Now I'm trying to enter a new invoice for a customer and it automatically enters 2 lines on the analysis, I only want 1 line so enter 0 in the second but when I click save it just takes the cursor back to customer code
I wish I paid for some software I wasted loads of time entering details into this but it seems really buggy

That's actually a feature that can be useful sometimes. When it's not it's a pain.
See this post for how to deal with it:

Thanks for that.
Does anyone have any clues as to why the expenses show as profit?

At a guess I'd say that somehow the debits and credits are back to front on Cost of Sales. How did you make those entries?
