Asset Finance - Protecting Cash Flow

I was wondering if any business forum members would like to share their experiences of using Asset Finance for equipment purchases as a means to protect and maintain a healthy cash-flow?

I'd also be interested to know if members in general have much experience of using independent funding sources as an alternative to the high street banks?
