Public Liability Insurance

Before I do the market at the weekend I have to have Pubic Liability Insurance in place. I have had one quote from the National Market Traders federation but I wanted to get competetive quotes....anyone know any good insurance companies who do this type of insurance?

Dont think you will get a better deal than the NMTF.

I'd say at least 50% of the people that attend our events are members of the NMTF.

Arrgghhh....I just called the NMTF back and they said it takes 5-7 days for the insurance cert. etc to reach me. That means it's no good for this weekend.......

Can you ask them to fax a letter proving your insurance? I'm sure someone would be kind enough to help if you explain the situation - especially if it's the difference between winning and losing your custom.

Tried that one Steve. They just said they are only the intermediary and that the policy comes from the insurance company. :-(
