The best way to promote a service?

Hi

As you may already know we provide a free number and call management service. I'm currently looking at how we can cost effectively promote this service and have been considering putting together some kind of referal scheme.

Also would like to consider how to offer some kind of fee so that we can take on self employed sales people and am wondering what the best way to do this might be...

In terms of finding a self employed sales person you will need to be able to pay them a significant commision. To get sales in your field , it's hard work, and any sales person would have to make 100 calls per day, in order to make a few sales per week. For this amount of effort, you would need to pay at least £300 per sale.

Self employed sales people usually work best selling large ticket items. a good example being telephone systems where they could potentially earn 000's per deal.

I don't know if you have the profit in your product to pay that kind of commision. An alternative could be to do your and sales.

If the sales people were any good they would be given basics and will be very well looked after. Sales are a major problem for every company and good salespeople are hard to find so when then do they get treated v well.

You are then asking this person to leave and work for an unknown company where they need to take the word of an unknown person to them, that it can be sold quickly enough for them to earn a better living.

Or you will get people who do not have a clue and hence can not get a well paid sales job and sift through the hundreds of small companies offering great commission only deals that will make them rich but knowing in the back of thier heads the last 5 they tried were never that easy but are desperate to believe that the golden rainbow is just round the corner that if you are lucky they might chose you.

Nowadays anyone with any talent can get a basic in a sweatshop call centre and quickly climb the ranks. So good luck find good commission only sales people and if you find any hens teeth on your search please let me know!
