Can somebody please tell me if there is a networking group/meeting that would be beneficial to a domestic plumbing & heating company?

Thanks

All networking would be beneficial to a plumbing business you will get loads of business from networking with other businesses.

What town are you in?

I'd agree - any networking would as you'll be flagging up services that'll apply to basically everyone. Attend as many networking events as you can and dish out your business cards like candy :)

Networking is about building long term trusting relationships with other business owner who will then feel confident in referring businesses to you.

The reason why networking doesnt work for some people is because they think it is all about handing out business cards to as many people as you can, it simply does not work.

If the OP responds as to where he is in the East of England I can make suggestions as to which group to join.

Hi

There are loads of options, but I find it's best to visit a couple and judge for yourself. The dynamic is different in every group. Try your local Chamber of Commerce, FSB (if your local one does networking), BNI, 4Networking etc. It needs to be somewhere you feel comfortable (and ideally it'll have other trades that you can build a good relationship with)

Good luck
