Hello People
I have used oscommerce for my site - i have kept some of the standard template (mainly because i have no time to change it) i have added a couple of contrbutions but i am asking whether it is worth taking some time to modify it? :?

It doesn't look bad but regular online shoppers will notice that you have a site that looks like most of the others. I believe oscommerce is the best software to use if you have hundreds of products on offer.

I agree with Toon, but there isn't anything wrong with your shop being "familiar" to customers. All the big retail outlets have their stores the same. You can walk into any McD's in the world and know where you are.
When your customer sees you have an osc store they will probably be familiar with it's layout and how to use it etc. I don't see that as a bad thing.
For me, the more osc stores there are the better. When they come to my store they will be familiar with how it works, and be comfortable and confident using it.
If your store is working properly then I would not spend much time trying to make it look different. I've seen a lot of great looking osc stores, but can't help think about the time the owner spends on getting it looking that good.

Thanks Joed, Toon
I am looking at around 1500 products then constantly updating them weekly.
I know oscommerce is a great way of allowing customers to shop online. I perhaps could change the layout colur to be blue like the top?
Thanks people
