I've been trying for some weeks now to find out the number of people per month that visit Fort William (and ideally the High Street). I've tried several organisations (including TIS, Business Gateway, VisitScotland) but the best I've been able to get hold of were from the Visitors Information Centre, where they have footfall capture equipment. But this is of limited use as I don't know what proportion of people on the high street enter the VIC.
Frustrating, as I'd have thought the Outdoor Capital Of The UK would know how many tourists come visiting each month to swell the population.
Anyone able to point me in the right direction?
