Publications/media contact for press releases

As some of you know. I am involved in a new project for 'Careers in Science Cards'. I am sending out a press release but need to get the relevant audience (if published). My target are major businesses which employ science graduates.

Does anyone know which magazines/newspapers I should primarily target?

So far Boots are sponsoring the Pharmacist card and I've just either e-mailed or sent letters out to a few others. But I'm also trying other alternatives to get this project underway. I have 6 weeks to get 29 further sponsors! Will I do it?? :?
