How much is the sponsership you require?

we are looking for new strips so id say some where between 200 and 300.we would also put sponsors name or logo on strips.

Hi James,

It isnt for us as its not our area & we already sponser our local club,

However i think it would benefit more in your local community have you struggled with your local business's?

With it only been a small amount i would have thought they would have jumped at the chance.

I know of a team a few miles away who struggled so what they did in the end was sell 10 tickets (10% of the money required per ticket) & the winner got the sponsership,

i have tried a few local companys but for some reason or another no one seems to want to sponsor us.We are a good team in a good league position and we also are heavily involved in charity through the league.Thamks for the reply, i will keep trying local companys

The league is the GDSFC we are currently in the gdsfc 2 but we are looking to get promoted this year.we where in the cup final last year losing out to a team that is heavily funded. The league has its own website but im not sure how up to date they are with league standings and results the web Just put in GDSFC in google and it will come up. We were formed in 2007 and have been playing in the league since then but last year we assembled a strong team and just missd out on promotion. This year we still have a strong team and despite a poor start to the league due to player absences(lot of the boys were on holiday or the non local boys where back home visiting)we are bringing in some really good results and have started our push for promotions.Any help we could get would be more than welcome and as i said earlier the league itself does lots for charity.last year all the teams donated and we sent a girl called sarah who had terminal cancer to disney world with her parents.Unfortunetly she has since passd but the league playd a cup tornament in her honour and procceds went to her family.

I mean each player chips in £30, no need for sponsor.

You can't have 30 names on a jersey.

I ment £30 each company then do a draw & one company wins

Hi mate,

I am in charge of marketing for a home improvement firm that covers Glasgow, the problem is I can't just write a cheque to a stranger for £300 on the basis that my name will be put on shirts.

You might want to think about getting a website, taking some photographs, setting up a team bank account.

Then you'll be in a better position. Many companies like to sponsor websites too as friends and family of team members regularly browse them.

Hi khalid.
We are currently in the middle of setting up a website im being told.As for a bank account this is something i could get set up fairly soon.We do have a lot of people who come to our games so they will also probably be regular visitors to the website. If these thimgs are put in place and your still interested let me know. Also we are willing to change the team name to something that suits the sponser if this is something that would interest you.

Cheers James
