Welcome ;) Took a look at your site. I have a crappy Fiat Punto so i don't take any care in my car. But it looks good.

I am interested in knowing a bit about that Pinnacle Service you offer for £1000 on your site

Hi

We have completed 4 Pinnacle details over the last 2 months, 2 of these were for cars to be exhibited at the Classic Car Show, one was for a gentleman who purchased an Audi R8 and got a good discount off the car as it was covered in swirls and scratches  Lastly we had a Porsche where the owner was to get the car resprayed before contacting us.

The process is quite time consuming and complex, the Audi R8 took us 6 days to complete.

We remove everything from the paintwork so we are left with the bare paintwork, we then pull it into the studio where we have aprox 50 laser beams set up allowing us to then take paint depth readings. The reason for this is so that we can take further readings from the exact location on the vehicle.

We begin the process of cutting the paintwork with a type of sander and a range of different compounds, this can take aprox 4 days. A very small amount of paint is removed from the surface meaning the imperfections are also removed.

The process of protecting the car again starts and involves nourishing the paintwork and finally applying Carnauba wax for a durable finish.

On top of this we also completely replenish te interior, alloy wheels and engine.

Why do people pay from £1000, look at it like the Porsche customer, he was quoted £3000 for a full respray, I can guarantee that once he got the car back it would never be 100% perfect, this process is a third of the cost and the finish will be much better, and on top of that, his alloys, engine and interior would be in the same if not a worse condition upon return from a respray.

I'll be honest, to many people they would probably never notice the level of details that goes into any of our details, how many people use cotton buds to clean the vents on the heaters?

Hope that gives you a little more of an idea on what we do, also do you have any pointers etc for our website, we are always happy to receive feedback.

Richard

Hi

We have completed 4 Pinnacle details over the last 2 months,

Hey. Sounds interesting. You must have the patience of a saint for being that thorough. And yeah i suppose £1000 for a Porsche or similar is worth paying for. Espeically at the cost of a respray.

Good luck with it all and thanks for taking the time to enlighten me! :D

P.S. If you ever need a pressure washer or have one and it breaks down. (For cleaning the cars etc). I run a business alongside my dad in repairs and sales of these. I'll be able to give you a good rate/discount.

Matt
