Just in case anybody's interested, here's an article (http://www.azam.biz/eu-domain-names-fraud/) I spent the whole day writing on what's been going on with .eu domain names.
I really think the shenanigans taking place during the absurd application process should be publicised.
It's so annoying that most of the best .eus were snapped up by crooked domainers...

Very interesting.
I actually read it all the way through - good on you, I usually get bored after one or two paragraphs.

Wow, thank you.
As a reporter with many years experience, I've discovered that people only ever generally make a comment if they want to criticise you. So it means a lot that you've written to say something positive.

You are absolutely right, Nadeem - there were a huge number of applications for sex.eu for example, all based on supposedly having valid trade mark registration for the word 'Sex'!

You're right!
You can see all 281 here (http://www1.whois.eu/whois/GetDomainStatus.htm?domainName=sex)
You know which the best one is?
Selling European Xylophones SEX GmbH
LOL :)

Good article - and you're right, the process is bonkers. Why didn't they just stick all the domain names on eBay and be done with it?
