How important is it when selling things online to have your logo on your sticky labelw ith the person's address on, logo and contact details on your compliments slip etc, are these things in your pinions neccessary from the start?

If you have gone to the effort of having a logo designed, you should use it wherever possible to establish your brand.
Why not do things properly from the start?

Short answer: yes.
Long answer, just call me it is easier as I will write for pages.
Always have top quality comp slips, letterheads, business cards etc, make sure they are well designed and on quality paper and card.
