The best route to market????

We are a relatively new start up direct marketing company and are looking to have a good growth quite quickly. Apart from the normal stuff like posting on yell and thomson local and all of the forums is there anything that anyone has used that is economical that could give us a good start. Budgets are restricted but we are open to the right thing/s???

Dave - as you are a direct marketing company wouldn't it be a good idea to do a campaign for yourselves?

Postcard campaigns, intro letters, BNI, Chambers of commerce, affiliate systems all spring to mind..

We have already done all of the normal things that we see as direct marketing i.e mailshots and telemarketing as well as email campaigns this is working very well but is there anything out there that is different that gets a good result.
