As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week we are running the Cleantech Open in the UK, which invites entrepreneurs and start-ups to submit their clean technology ideas and enter the world's largest clean technology competition. I have pasted some more info below but please do use this thread to ask further questions.
The AXA Insurance Cleantech Open UK ideas competition calls for entrepreneurs and small businesses to create the products, services and technologies that address today’s most pressing energy and economic challenges.
● Do you have a cleantech idea?
● Have you received less than $500,000 in external private financing?
If so, you could win:
• The title of AXA Insurance Cleantech Open UK ideas competition winner
• A trip to San Francisco as the UK winner to pitch to 2,500 investors, entrepreneurs, sponsoring corporations, academia and media
• The global competition and its prize of $100,000 worth of startup package tailored to your business
Entry to the competition requires you to complete five sentences:
1. My idea is: (describe in 200 words)
2. The problem my idea solves is: (describe the value proposition)
3. The market for my idea is: (describe who will buy the product/service)
4. My idea will have a positive effect on the environment because: (describe the impact)
5. My idea is a winning one because: (describe the unique competitive advantage)
