...........How do you get rid of the colums you don't need, I have done something that has used colums A-F but when I try and print it, it chops off the last column. If there a way to remove colums G-Q.

Hope that makes sense to someone.

Many Thanks

Mmm. Not sure I do know what you mean!

Do you mean the last column is printing on the next sheet of paper?

I'm assuming you mean you want to print a range in which case you simply highlight the area you wish to print and when you get to the print window (file>print) you will find a section with 3 radio radio buttons at the bottom left(headed 'print what')
.
The default is to print the entire worksheet (Active sheet(s)).

Click on the button that says 'selection' and then click on OK as normal.

That should sort your problem out.

Or you could just hide the column...

If you mean you want to delete colums Q-S then you click on them at the top of the column so that they are highlighted all the way down then go to edit & delete.

Greig,

In addition to all the other tips (selecting a range to print is the key one) also note that you can take the option to print the selected range on one page - i.e. if it's too big to fit the selected paper then Excel will automatically scale it down for you.
