I followed the advice of my business mentors and engaged the services of an foreign bookkeeping company that alleged to understand the UK VAT system, this has turned out not to be the case. I do not have the knowledge or time to train them in the mysteries of the UK VAT system.

Thus I am looking for a UK bookkeeper to work on an hourly/monthly rate.

My accounts are processed using Kashflow and all receipts can be delivered electronically for entry into the system. This is purely a data entry role as I have an accountant to do the annual accounts based on these figures and the paper mountain that I supply to them.

My current company charged approx £5 per hour and of course I know that this is not a viable rate for the UK. Thus having done a quick search I found one bookkeepers rate starting at £65 per month, the extra cost is fine by me as long as it means I never have to read another HMRC page 'explaining' their system!

Look forward to hearing from you and if you need any clarification then please ask

How many hours per month do you envisage the bookkeeping making entries into Kashflow?

I use this system for my own accounts and for three of my clients' accounting and would be interested in further discussion.

PM me or call me on 0845 36 37 130.
