used even old computers

Hie all

My husband and i have been helping the needy in africa by asking for donations and buying wanted/used clothing etc..We want to start helping children in schools with computers and on a recent visit there we realised not only how scarce computers are but how old (and what we in the first world would regard as out dated) the few available machines are is. We are looking to amass a good number (to start off with as there are customs and duty costs to consider) of computers in a working useable condition and was wondering if anyone could help . Any Ideas as usual will be greatly appreciated. We have a registered a not-for-profit-company being funded by personal funds.

I have a business in Ilkeston (not sure how close that is to you??) but i know we have lots of old monitors and also computers that to be honest are simply in the way here.

If they were to go to a worthwhile cause then we may be interested.

I also know the owner of our IT support company very well, i imagine he has clients a plenty in the same situation.
