Hello

Could someone advise me on how to put together a banner ad/ skyscraper ad. No idea where to start.

Thanks in advance.

Becky

Do you have a programe such as Adobe Photostop or Paintshop pro to do it on, or banner creator software?

Hello again!

Nope I haven't got either of those. Do you know if there's anything I can download for free that would be useful?

Sorry I dont know of any free ones. I have a web designer that makes mine for me as tbh when I make my own its obvious that I have made them! Making a decent banner is a lot harder than you think.

A good free program is GIMP which is sort of like Photoshop...

I personally use Photoshop then Imageready, but have in the past used Macromedia Fireworks which is also good.

If you are interested in getting them done professionally and cheaply you may want to check out the link in my signature.

If you are not interested I apologise for the blantant plug.

Fireworks comes with a 30 day free trial and is "designed" for website published images. Photoshop is a better program but is probably overkill for a website only use.

GIMP is good once you learn how to use it - has most the functionality of the Photoshop and it is free but there arent all the convenient features. Photoshop you can adjust levels manually (which is the better way) or with an autolevels button, GIMP is manual only.
