Articles are dramatically becoming a mainstream way of advertising for websites.

Business owners have discovered that submitting articles to an article directories has many benefits for their business. Writing a good and effective article and submitting it to an article directory offers much more than the typical advertising campaign. Who would resist submitting articles for free and same time promoting your products and expecting to be viewed by hundreds or even thousands of readers in the world!

I use article submission directories when I submit my articles. They are all great. But there is this directory that I came across recently which my fellow article writer always talk about, its www.submityourarticlesnow.com. Believe me its a wonderful article directory to submit your articles.

It has a lot of benefits in submitting your articles. There is always a chance that your article would get picked up by an electronic newsletter, called an eZine, and this would expose your link to new audiences which could also result in new traffic for your web pages. That means lot of new visitors!

There is also a chance that your article would get picked up by a printed publication, and the readership of the same would get to know the products or services which your business offers. Amazing isn't it?

By writing a highly informative piece, you’ll be able to brand yourself as an expert in any field you excel in the eyes of your readers. They’ll get to trust you with their needs, whenever they would arise.

Try it out and elevate your advertising campaign to the next level, all without spending a single cent at that.

If you're going to claim not to be anything to do with www.submityourarticlesnow.com, then you probably want to change your profile home page to something other than www.submityourarticlesnow.com ;) Nothing wrong with promoting your own site after all!

Anyway, regardless of that - great list of links, I'm looking into it now

I found a new article site on the net that might be useful as it is in its early stages, hence less competition.

Hi - I guess this Q is for Sir Earl and SEO bods - if I was to submit an article to all of the above with the same text - would that work against us? Also, what if the exact same article was to be on our own site?

Good point. Whatever you do don't go and submit the same article to all the article sites. If the content is also on your own website then the subject, its text, and its perceived value (to Google especially) is devalued. Done in an over enthusiastic manner it is like a burned bun in an oven - useless! In fact it can be extremely detrimental to what you are trying to achieve and a slippery slide down the rankings.

what you are saying is ..to just keep it on your own site and thats it?

I think article submission is pretty much dead. Most article sites are little more than link farms and have gone the way of most online directories, reciprocal links and the dinosaurs.

As Zii pointed out, you want to drive traffic to your own site, not replicate your well written content for the benefit of others - and let's me honest, most article sites are plastered in ads, as that's how the owners make money.

I would be interested to see some hard evidence from anyone on here showing the benefit of submitting a well written article to hundreds of these article sites.

I dont bother with it either - although the odd one here and there cant do any harm.

I prefer to write a decent article residing on my site and try to get links to it from digg or whatever
