hi everyone ive had my online store since october now and get reasonable hits a day ranging between 30-70 but only sold about 7 products how can i get attention of solid buyers at minimal costs.
The products i feel speak for them selves as they are all high in demand products im approved by the OFT i dont think the prices are too high what could it be.
would appreciate any feed back!

My suggestion would be to consolidate your product range somewhat. Your front page is showing me jewellery, luxury furniture, appliances and football shirts next to each other. Way too confusing for a customer.

I'd find a category that you are passionate about and really specialise in it. Make shoppers feel you are an authority and THE place to shop for that category. Then market yourself based on that.

I don't think the jack of all trades approach is working for you.

Also - if I am honest, get rid of the ML TV thing you have and brand yourself properly. You have no company identity or sense of soul or personality

Please don't be offended by this but try to answer the following questions honestly:

1. If I wanted the sort of goods you sell, how would I know you sold them?

2. If somehow I found you, why would I buy from you rather than Amazon, Ikea, eBuyer etc etc?

Hi

I had a quick look through your site a few things put me off as a consumer.

I`m a lazy shopper online, I like all the relevant info easy to find and I could`nt find it without having to go check up into another area, eg on some of the items I looked at there is no note of how long I would have to wait to receive an item.

No enticing copy along side the goods and lack of info.

Why would I want to part with over a grand for a bracelet from your site when it does`nt even tell me what size it is?
How many sparkly diamonds there are?
How long I need to wait before I receive it?
How much is the actual delivery charge?

I sound like that bad TV commercial

But as I said I`m a lazy internet shopper and impatient too!

Cunning, never noticed those buttons down there, so used to people having their links in their signature.

Looking at your site as a consumer I would firstly agree with Puravida that the launch page is covered with unassociated items. Whilst there plenty of other stores out there that sell a mixture of goods they often simply have the catagories on the front page rather than a random sample.

My main issue as a viewer however would be the large "Powered by ML International". Having never heard of them I followed the link and as soon as I read the first couple of lines it said to me "pyramid scheme" and therefore scam. I am not saying this is a correct assumption but as something close to joe average it set alarm bells ringing and if I had been looking to buy I would then be off to the likes of Amazon. I guess this was compounded with you "about me" (rather than the much more common about us) which again doesnt say you are a business I should trust but that you are a "business partner" of an organisation which (again only in my opinon) has to say too many times about how great it is that I immediately start hearing "the lady doth protest too much". If you look at Amazons about us it has a totally different feel to it.

Hi,

i think all of the points raised above are quite correct.

i think my main 3 points would revolve around the fact you are a partner with ML international.

1st - Get your own branding to enhance the look of your own store
2nd - Change the telephone number at the top from a mobile to either an 0845, 0870 or your home number (working with just a mobile does not create confidence in a reputable store)
3rd - the header of the site says remi'sonestopshop.com - but this does not relate to your website address. Your website address is a sub-domain of ML international

I hope i am not being over critical :D - i just think some of these easy to rectify things will enhance your store ten fold

if you need any help then please feel free to email or pm me

:D

HI good points here and i will take a few on board like the contact numbers shown etc thanks,

Arial, the product description and delivery times were there but we recently went through a site update cause of new produvts added to the range so it must have been wiped accidently but glad you brought to my attention wiil look into it.

Astaroth, no your point is wrong im not offended as you dont much about the company, but it has 3 main sectors e-commerce,direct selling and in demand products as well as the network marketing side which is optional but its not a pyramid as it has a up line as well as down line which is why the business is unique. You could say were like a cross between amway and ebay in sense.

what i had to take into account was that i wanted a e-commerce business to do part time and didnt have a big start capital as many designers charge £50-£1000 just for a website template no shopping cart facility products etc,so when i was shown that ML was offering this site design which i think i ok with shopping cart credit card payment facility and over 3000 product plus more being added constantly and they deal with delivery for me and customer quieries all for £899 i though hey cant go wrong really.

I went to your site new products and there were no product images?
I don't think you can expect people to buy if they can't see what they are buying

OK, here goes. Your sites looks pretty amateur I'm afriad, but the products on your homepage are of extremely high value. There's no way I'd spend hundreds of pounds on a site like yours.

Your "new products for March" don't have any pictures - and call me suspicious, but things like football shirts and other sportswear are often faked. Now, I'm not for a moment claiming that's what you're selling, but again, I'm be very dubious of buying something like that from a site like yours.

Your latest news has only 3 items in the last 6 months. If you are going to have a latest news section then you must week it up to date - at least one new item a week, minimum.

And finally, you don't seem to have any search engine optimisation, which might suggest the reason you're getting low visitor numbers.

By the way, this is absolutely, completely just my opinion, don't feel you need to justify yourself to me in any way!
