I am currently looking into getting a mobile card payment machine for processing credit and debit cards in people homes, as we have found more and more that when we deliver our products that people ask if they can use there card for payment. Which we would prefer this anyhow as it reduces the amount of cash we have to carry around with us.
I have searched on Google and found hundreds of companies and services, but I was wondering if anyone had any experiences of using the mobile card system and if anyone could offer any advice or recommendations on any companies that could offer this service for me.
Many Thanks,
Mick

hi, cardsave, i pay near enough £35 a month for a 12 month contract, they setup a meeting with a rep and its up to you to negotiate the transaction costs, eg. 20p debit cards, 1.6% credit, wangle em down as much as poss as they wnat the business, all being well with the application (which they fill in for you) you should be up and running in about 2 weeks. I found them easy to call with queries and trust me, I looked all over the place wasting my time, at the end of the day 1 year is not too long, most do 3 years,
hope it helps. they have a referal scheme as well and if I point them to you and you sign up I get £50 high street vouchers, helps towards the cost of the thing, thats up to you though.

I have no experience of using it, but was there not an iPhone app for doing just that? I know that it relies on having the phone, but you could combine its other features to save money on other contracts.

hi, sorry for the long time no hear thing, been away.
iphone apps are great and I looked into this way of doing things as well, what I realised is that you must input all the card info yourself(unless you have a reader, more equipment). I opt only for one device taking face to face payments with the option of taking phone or internet payments as well, more mney but less hassle and takes seconds to complete a transaction.
cheers
