Sourcing Abroad

I have had an email from someone today requesting the following information:-

I would be interested to know how your services compare with outsourcing abroad, to South Africa and India for example.

I am based in England and I am a little unsure what to answer in reply! Can anyone offer any suggestions please?

two quick thoughts
South Africa
Broadband is very very expensive and it is probably cheaper to employ local staff, the costs are relatively low. But without knowing the details one cannot make direct comparisons.

The other point is why do they want to know? what are their motives - they may not be ethical.

Obviously I know its cheaper to go abroad! I have written back replying now anyway.
