hi all, im looking to sign up and use natwest as my business bank account.
After reading through the different types, ive decided on :

Natwest Business Current Account -auto free Tariff

Although on the website, it only states, natwest business current account, im guessing if i sign up for this one, it is also the auto free tariff?

many thanks

Why not give them a quick call to clarify. I use Barclays and once signed up you get the choice of tariffs. I suspect it'll be much the same.

Why not look at Barclays or Alliance Leiceseter - they both offer free banking.

Hello,

We currently use NatWest business banking, we get the Business Manager's mobile number and they were understanding during my father's illness.

Previously (for another business) I used a Yorkshire Bank premium service which was over £100 a year but they'd complete forms for us and come where we were working for a signature.

Thanks,

Antony.

We are Natwest and found going streamline as our merchant account for Credit card transactions was very straightforward as they are part of the same group.
If your looking at streamline then becoming an FSB member is a no brainer IMHO. FSB members avoid the streamline setup fees (was going to be £200 for online and MOTO merchant accounts) and lower commission rates on CC transactions by being a member of the FSB.

Where do I start.
2 Months to open an account when told it would be a few days and in writing.
Blamed on companies house for shareholding info, utter crap.
They lost the first application and id even though it doesnt go through external post
had to re-do everything but then they found the original and 2No went through
then they send everything with LIMITED on not LTD and proceeded to tell me i needed companies house to update to match them
then they only verbally gave me the account number as I needed it to pay cheques i'd had into - this was wrong but luckily was sorted out pretty quick
Now had a cheque book correct and absolutely nothing else whatsoever.
Wrote a complaint and as yet no reply.

Not very good is it? - lots of simple little mistakes caused by human error but nobody can be bothered to sort it out,

think its pretty self explanatory, if you are going to need streamline facilities - sign up to the FSB to save money.
