Getting money back!!!

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knows a good solictior or debt collector? I am having lots of issues getting back some money that is owed to me (now 1,400) and have been through a solicitor before, who was absolutely useless so I decided to go through a no win no fee debt collector who was also useless so one year later I have paid out more than £250 to try and get my money back and in return got no money and plenty of stress!!! I was wondering if there is anything at all I can do to try and get some of this money back that I am owed, I have even gone through bailiffs who say that the person who owes me money "doesn't have any money" therefore he can't pay it !! What a load of rubbish!!!
