Hello

I've been busy marketing our company thorugh various offline means and online DM and now want to do some online PR. Has anyone got any tips for sublitting press releases to online media - completely new area for me - Cheers :?

Actually, I have a tip here.

There are various free press release sites which have already been discussed on here. (see PS)

However, specifically for online PR (without access to the contact database I use) this is what I'd do.

Visit www.newsnow.co.uk and search for - in your case - Fashion UK

Here's the link ...

You now have a ready made list of online news sites featuring news about fashion. As well as inspiring ideas you can plagiarise yourself (heaven forbid a professional would ever do that of course!). you can also visit each one in turn to discover their submission instructions - normally under contacts. Bit of a slog - but once it's done, it's done.

Many may have submission online forms which you can bookmark in favourites for future use. Some will offer advice on how they want info submitted too.

Ultimately you should also make personal contact when you've constructed your news releases. There are many threads on that subject.

Writing articles or Press Releases and submitting them to article or Press Release sites based on my topic of expertise gets me a lot of links pointing to my website which is great for search engine optimisation and online PR.

Any articles or Press releases you write can be submitted to the following list of sites which I use. Always include at least one link pointing back to your website with your chosen keywords as anchor text to achieve the most benefit from your efforts.

I still receive tons of traffic from articles I submitted a few years ago to some of these sites. The beauty is that people take your articles and post them on their sites also giving you free exposure. It's a win/win way for getting your name and website out there.
