Hi. Not sure if anyone could help with this but worth a shot.

Im producing a sports training video for home use. It will involve children so im wondering if i need some kind of insurance - for instance- in case some kid in the states hurts themselves and sues me cos they were going by my instructions.

Ive put on a health and safety list at the start of the video. Is their anything else i would need to prevent any lawsuits? (not that i expect any!).

Cheers

You will have to be vetted by the Police, I think or some professional body to check your background, to video record children and you will need permission from their parents obviously.

Thanks Dave,

Yes ive got full insurance and am vetted for the video itself + the parents consent.

What im concerned about is once the video is finished.

For example. Say you bought "David Beckhams freekick masterclass" on video. You and your child went out and practised his methods and your kid busts his ankle. Is there comeback on Becks or the company that produced the video?

I dont think there would be but i would like to make sure..

Cheers.

@ Dave - sorry, just read my first post and i didnt explain myself properly.
