Good morning to one and all.

Now what do I do? Well apart from having many idea's and numerous business plans for them all have managed to find myself running with two of them and am looking to find someone to help with the other two.

Had been in the motor trade for 8 years working within fleet/corporate selling into one man bands right the way upto blue chip of which I had some great success. All of this was done via cold calling and it seemed to be something that after the initial 'I don't wanna do this' that I actually became good at it. So a redundancy back in November two weeks beofre baby number 3 prompted me to take a step back and look at my strengths and low and behold it was cold calling. Am in the process of setting up my own telemarketing company and have a few small clients on board however would always welcome some more. This keeps me pretty much tied up during the day however by ight it all changes.

www.bandmemberonline.com was an idea I had for years that was rubbished by an ex as being no more than a pipe dream however between me and my wife have reignited it to the point where the site goes live in a few months which currently has over 17k people subscribed to launch date and also a podcast due to start within the next few weeks. The site itself is for those wanting to join a band or looking for someone to complete a band as well as looking after newish bands that are unsigned and a way to give themselves a bit more exposure and maybe even signed up to our own label. So if you know anyone with a music bone in their body then it may be ideal for them. Lucky in the respect that this runs very much in the evenings and well into the night/weekends.

Lots of idea's and not enough time to do them all so am/will actively be looking for partenrs who may be web designers etc who would be willing to run with a partnership. On various other forums so hope to increase my connections with valuable contacts and also help where I can.

Hi Shay,

Sounds interesting as a post bandmember myself this would be a great resource for the UK. I remember using another similar site but can't remember it now, in any case it was only a forum and looked a bit scruffy.

Looking forward to seeing the finished thing.
