Its my first post so be gentile.
My boss, instead of offering our 'temporary' pay cut back is thinking of issuing a company share scheme to staff. We were given a brief explanantion of what it means but after some googling, it seems a lot more complicated and less attractive than first thought.
What are your experiences of such schemes?, do individuals have to accept them? Are their any pit falls I need to consider?
I read on a website that staff shares schemes and be as little as 20% of company value, with the other 80% in the hands of the board, is this true?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
