first online tax return

hi all

ive just completed my first online tax return (im very pleased with my self !)

would you mind having a look at these figures to see what tax i owe, as i want to check i have done it right and not messed up !

income:
salary 11,000
dividends 16, 100
interest 2

i paid paye tax of 902

I also have a student loan of 12,000 (no payments made thru paye)

but i want to see if that looks right to someone like you .

Seems right to me assuming that the dividends you received were £16,100.

The amount due is all student loan. This is calculated on your total income on your SA Return (ie £11,000 plus £17,888). You deduct the £15k student loan earnings allowance with the balance due at 9% (£1,250)
