I have been trying to locate an article which i think is very important to us online marketers. If you have it or seen it please post the link.

It was some thing to do with how google is determining who gets seen first on the android mobiles searches.
Now correct me if i am wrong but is that not monopolising.
Now there was another bit of the article that said google would only show sites that we quickly uploaded.

Which brings me to a point i brought up a bought Dongle internet (http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=125938) are the powers that be going to give different levels of website priority over the listings.

For example remember when you used to choose which version of a website you looked at, Low res or high res.
Low res will take less time to load and less bandwidth.
It is something to think about in the future of mobile marketing. Especially when tablet PC's are becoming more and more popular. (samsung launching next month i believe)

According to an article I was reading on the Google Adwords help, Google treats searches from full browser smartphones (Android and iPod) exactly as normal web searches.

I'm more interested in finding out out what people search for in the android app marketplace. Any where we can gets stats on this like the google external keyword tool?

I would love to release a decent business app but only if it's likely to get downloaded. First to market is always good so I have been thinking a lot about this over the past few months, just not actioned it yet and for that some good stats would be nice :-)

I read an interesting one that said that the UK spends more £ per person by mobile phone browsing than any other country. Finally, public transport does something good for our country. (But I think also a large amount is spent shopping off the mobile phone whilst browsing from the sofa whilst also watching TV!!)

What about the one that says 3 mobiles to every PC.

I am sat here dipping my toes into android coding right now.

So far I am VERY impressed with the platform. I am glad they don't have the full-on regulation of the Apple Store but I think the Market Place is a bit of a Wild West free-for-all at the moment.

e.g this week TweetDeck announced they would shortly make an Android version available. Very shorty afterwards they were telling people NOT to download TweetDeck from the marketplace as an unofficial one had popped up trying to cash in prior to the official release.
