Right, this is annoying me now ive spent about an hour trying so im beginning to think it cant be done.
Ive set up my yahoo email to allow me to download emails from my website using the pop system. So it downloads all my emails for me to see - thats all fine.
When i want to reply - it has in the "From" field, my personal email address. I want to change the default of this to my websites email address - is there any way this can be done?
Cheers
Tony

You should be able to set the from address in the mail client you are using?

Hi Tony84,
Try this:
1. Log into your Yahoo! mail
2. Click "Options" in the upper-right hand corner of the page and select 'Mail Options'
3. Click 'Accounts' on the left
4. Click 'Add Account' near the top
5. The rest looks self-explanatory
6. When you next compose an email, if the address you want is not showing in the from field, you may have to use the dropdown arrow to find it.
Let me know if this works.
I am assuming, of course, that the email address you want to use, isn't already available in the dropdown box.

Brian

I have already added the account and the email address is available in the drop down menu. However the email address as standard is the yahoo email and not my business email address - ie everytime i send an email i have to select the business email address.
It sounds like nothing and i agree but the person im doing it for is worried incase they send an email and forget to change it.

Hi Tony,
I noticed on the page that I referred you to, you can set the email as the main or default email address. So what happens if you set your business email as the default one. Will you still have to use the dropdown box? Have you set is as default?

Brian
