When i am in ameeting i can deliver a presentation very well but i am useless at selling over the phone or by letter.

I really need to push the sales of some of my smaller services, can anyone please point me in the right direction of some great advice on sales pitches over the phone or i can offer a commission on our smaller services in return for sales.

Cheers

Tony

Have a look at ebonybaily's website, I think he has tips on how to do this. If not PM him and I'm sure he would help. It's his job to yack on the phone and sell stuff (Oh sorry Marketing and sales, he's not an annoying telly sales person) :D

Cy has been caught spamming other forums and posting similar things along with saying some amazing things.

Like a lot of others I bet we don't see him in a few months after he realises that posts like that hurt his reputation not build it.

Not happy sweetness. I thought you loved me more, so why would I not get your business!

V hurt and off to cry in a dark room

I wouldn't be confident at using Cy. We approached him with some possible work a few weeks ago - wanting to work with fellow UKBF members and all - after some interest, nothing! No response even to a simple email asking if he was still interested, and this was after we sent him information about our product!

If any of our sales staff did not follow up a very interested enquiry, well, I don't need to say what would happen do I!!!

I'm co-hosting a teleclass on how to write magnetic letters next week.

You can find out more here: http://mediaminister.co.uk/teleclass.htm

Any questions, just shout!

Hi Tazuk

Try Steve Gibson off the forum, very informative and helpful, has already given me some fantastic tips. Also Annethedon has an excellent marketing service as well!

Why not get a tape recorder and a friend?

Make a presentation to your friend and record it. That's what you'll want your letter/phone script to say.

Obviously, there are techniques to convert this face-to-face pitch into a telesales script or salesletter, and there are people here who can help you with this (myself included).

But this recording should give you (and anyone helping you) the guts of what you want to say.

I'm blushing :)
