I'm looking for support chat software for my website where I can login and it shows if I'm online and anyone can chat. I'm putting some on trial at the moment but does anyone have any recommendations. I want one off payment software that I can install on my own servers not subscribtions. Thanks

Crafty syntax is not bad, it's actually what we run on our site. I don't think it's the slickest interface but it is definitely another option.
Many Thanks

I'm not so certain your advice would be that highly prized by Leo. Firstly he has just been offering you IT advice, secondly his name suggests he is himself involved in the IT industry. :D

Yes I did notice his profile which is why I mentioned it. I'm pretty sure Leo will be the first to admit he doesn't know everything. As professionals we do not know everything in IT...it's impossible. I'm sure my 20 years experience of programming or problem solving may come in handy... unlikely he'll ask me but worth mentioning.
