My Shopping Bank .com or edirectory .com SCAM

so that's these two url's http://my.shoppingbank.com/ http://www.edirectory.com/

Also known as my fave shop . . . er but not anymore, that name didn't last long.

My wife started a big long thread about this company that are endorsed by GMTV when they went under another name "it's cold outside".

This is a warning to all business who are contacted by these people or who have agreed to anything over the phone. Do not give them any money and if you have cancel asap. This is a big fat heavily marketed scam. I know business who have given loads of money too them and had little if any return. This is all about making money from business and not from consumers. They get such a bad reputation they have to change their name every few months.

You have been warned! do not believe their lies!!!!

Interestingly from a users point of view the site actually has some good deals + the cash back option.

I'm a bit confused however - It's cold outside is an SEO company and this is a shopping site, how are the 2 affiliated? Just me being dumb i'm sure.

Sorry, my mistake.

This company is nothing to do with it's cold outside. I was getting mixed up. Both companies are as bad as each other.

edirectory, myfaveshop and myshopping bank are all the same firm and they use the same hard pushy sales people.

The reason I call it a scam is they target business, charge a large fee and then you don't get anything of any real value back. If they were so good why won't they just work on commission only. Because they won't sell anything for you that's why.

IMO any company that needs to use pushy sales people is probably a con. After 3 years of being hassled by advertising firms every day I know which ones to avoid with a barge pole and it's always the ones you can't get off the phone.

So why do you post links to their websites? To increase their links and make sure they rank higher in search engines?

Yeah that's exactly what I'm trying to do.

FFS listen to me if you want and don't if you don't want to, I'm trying to be helpful and warn people not to get ripped off.

We all appreciate your help.

Just mention the names, don't link to them (don't parse the links when you post).

Even Mods are weird here as they keep spam links live.

Forum links are worth sweet FA,

the funniest one i remember seeing on here was a virtual shopping mall that charged people a rather large sum to be listed on but they had zero traffic. People were well p1ssed off.
