I don't suppose this makes a damn bit of difference, just double checking! :)

Posts VS Pages.

Posts = Tend to be for blogs.
Pages = well.. are pages.

There's a reason why I'm using posts even though it's not a blog, I can use them to link to pages or the category without it being a blog.

SEO terms, does google, bing + w/e else rank one higher then the other?

IF it did, I know it would only be the smallest difference. "Every something helps" someone once said :rolleyes:

I think you are talking about pages and posts in WP ?

If so, i don't think there would be a difference from google;s perspective as both are more or less same from code point of view..

a post when published will ping google and be indexed immediately. A page won't and will be indexed when they feel like it.

Here's a good tip

Pages it is.

However, the 2 main reason's he chose where:

1) The page had to be a daughter page of another page.... BUT - wp 3.x has the new custom menu.. meaning a post category can be a 'child' of a page instead.

2) he mentions 'comments destroy' - this isn't an issue.. comments are disabled.

This could be complete nonense... however I've been looking at our results and find that pages rank better than posts... but that could just be coincidental and I can't 100% confirm without further tests or research.

I've gone with pages anyway. Although the snippets are posts... the "view more" leads to a page. I guess pages may have the 'edge' over a longer period :)

All is fine now though :) Thanks :D
