Expensing to company

Hi Everyone,

I am the sole director/shareholder of a limited company. I recently booked a flight and a rental car using my personal debit card.

Am I able to give the invoice to the company, and credit my director's loan account? And is the company able to claim the VAT back?

The main purpose of the trip is business, however of course I will be doing my own thing in the evening

What documentation would I have to keep?
