I work as self employed for someone , but i'm also registered as a business so i can get suppliers for my website , now would it be worthwile going Vat registered eventhough i haven't reached the threshold yet , would i be able to claim vat back on hotel bills , food and petrol etc

if your supplys are high in your labour and your materals and overheads are low Don't vat regester
but if the other way round and you supply Vat regesterd compineys then regester
If you only supply the publick probly no benefit in regestering
But seek proper advice from an accountant
If you are selfemployed for only one compiny the tax man may class you as an employe of that compiny
