Hi there,
I'm looking to sell the following assets of my business:
-Website
-Trademark
-Client list (CRM data)
-Customer goodwill
I'm hoping to sell for around £60,000. How do I account for this on my end? Is it an invoice that has VAT on top?
Also I want to change the name of my company afterward and keep the cash in the business to invest in new projects. Is that a smart, tax-efficient idea? I will pay myself dividends as & when I need them.
Thanks in advance to all of you guys out there. Really appreciate it.
