I've spoken to a number of clients recently who experience frustration when it comes to installing telephone lines into what BT class as temporary sites - ie. site office, portacabins, etc. I know this is something that seriously affects the construction trade, and industries surrounding that, in particular.

Landline communications forming an essential part of your business.

Always remember, you dont have to go to BT to provide this type of service - Telecom IT (a service provider based in the Midlands) have started to specialise in the processing and tracking of these types of orders - already working with some key clients.

Feel free to PM me if this is appropriate on you want to work with a company that can offer the kind of support that your critical business needs.

And what is your solution?

well, the solution is the same. as companies still find the landline technology more re-assuring for business critical applications - for example, when compared against the newer technology of VOIP.

what I'm suggesting is, that there are smaller UK telecoms firms out there that are able to liaise with BT Openreach on your behalf, dealing directly with their ordering interfaces.

because of the core network that is in place, my guess is that most people's first thought for a landline installation is still with BT, but its all about options and easing frustrations.
