Hi, as it says on the tin iam looking for someone to host my website.

www.thebattlegrounds.co.uk (i know its not very good (comments for improvment are welcome))

Yes your right, i do already have a host but the problem is that i can no longer find the hosts website which means i cant add new pictures so iam looking for somewere else to put it (free if possible)

I own the domain name and forward traffic to the free site so no problem there.

Any suggestions on either upgrades to my site or hosts please.

With thanks, Gilan

It opens fine for me, but I am using IE. I am not sure that you will find somewhere to host it for free, but what I would be more concerned about is the fact that you said you can no longer find the host's website.

Do you have your website files? What are you using to upload images?

My advice would be to use someone like oneandone.co.uk who are cheap, reliable and are a big outfit.

In terms of feedback on the site itself, the one thing that stood out immediately was - and excuse me for being thick - but I had no idea what you were offering on there!!! I thought that you were just a group of people who got together to re-enact battles!!!

Hope that helps.

The source says the file it's trying to open is "Home.dwt"... Just checked, and I can open other .dwt files, just not this one, even when outside the domain masking... Hmmm... Sorry... No idea... :/

I clicked on the link - it doesn't open in Firefox. It just lists the code source.

Hmmm, my knowledge of web building is limited, this is my first site. Does anyone know how i can help these nice people view the site?

For a first attempt at a website its not to shabby. Had to use internet explorer to view it which might be something you should look at as if it's not accesible then you could be putting of potential clients.

Would also suggets that you include more written content as this will help your site with the search engines.

Thankyou, yes thats a good idea. Anyone got any idea of how i should go about allowing people with safari, firefox and others to view it?

A finger in the right direction would be great.

I think you need an "Enviroment identificator" placed in your "javascript" :?: :?: :?:

Do a search for "Enviroment identificator in javascript"
