What to do with "parked" domains?

I've got a few quite interesting domains, which are currently parked, ie. just have holding pages.

I'd like to have something a bit more active. I've thought about:

Forums
Pixel homepage, where the pixels are free (to make it look interesting)!
Directory

Any other ideas?
