International payroll

Can anyone recommend a company that provides international payroll services and advice. The company that requires advice has employees of various nationalities that are carrying out duties in a number of countries including Sweden, Latvia and Ukraine .

I found several companies from searching the net but would prefer a recommendation from someone who has used their services.

Without knowing more about your client, e.g. size of company, type of advice required, expectations on fees, etc it is difficult to know who would be appropriate to recommend.

If you can give more background, or at the very least an indication of whether they typically pay bargain basement fees or more upmarket for tax advice, I may be able to pass some names on to you.

The client is a small to medium growing company and has about 20 employees. They would be wanting advice as to which countries the employees should be paying tax and NI and would also want someone who could run payrolls in various countries as necessary. Some employees are likely to be taxable in more than one country.

The client understands that this is a complex area and would be prepared to pay the going rate for expert advice.

If is very difficult to suggest something for you without knowing the number of employees in the company total positions in the company rate of tax deduction and the variation of pays from rank to rank
