I am looking at sourcing a reputable credit agent so my customers can buy products on HP.
Does anyone know of good companies that offer this.
I have spoken to a few and First Call Finance seem very good, but too good to be true perhaps?
Any advice on what I should be asking them?

We dont offer finance to our clients but in the past have had literature etc from Premium Credit who do/did provide funding for accountants fees - they might be worth looking into I assume they dont restrict their services to accountants.

Isn't some of your expensive stuff second hand (ex-arcade)?
Not sure a finance co. would be keen to finance a machine worth thousands, when you give a very limited warranty.
Just a though, although you can get finance for a car, that may or may not last for the finance period, so who knows.:)

Only about 1% of the stuff is second hand arcade machines. You can still offer credit for second hand goods, like you said - cars for example.
It really isn't for this though. The idea is for our home use customers who want to buy pool tables/foosball tables over the Christmas period.

Don't we all?! I think I need to live in an aircraft hanger to fit all the things into a games room I would want. I will have to suffice with 3 pinball machines, an upright arcade cabinet and a 7ft outdoor pool table for now. :D

Out of interest, do you sell pinballs? As I don't see any on your site.

I was wondering that myself. I'm sure I could find space for it, once it was in the house, but how the hell do you get it in?

Pinball machines are notoriously difficult to come by. I can source pretty much anything but there would be a wait time on it.
The new stuff is never very good (IMO) and does not have the charm of the older 1990's machines which are harder to come by but far more collectable.

They can be broken down but not too much. You would still need a pretty big gaff if you we're to fit it in. My god they weigh soooooooo much.

I thought they were heavy, but sold my WMS Junk Yard a couple of years ago on e-bay. The guy came to collect it and took off the legs, folded down the head...then picked it up and walked out to his van with it!

He must have had a trolley with him. I've seen pins moved by one person before. Not something lil ole 5'3 me could do i'm afraid. :p
