Hiya,

My brother in law, Duane Jackson, told me about these forums and told me you all are a friendly bunch.

I am thinking of setting up a company which sells customised plastic keyrings, fridge magnets etc.

I am just at the stage where i am looking into costs, i know there are a couple of companies here that already do this, hopefully you would be able to provide me with some advice........ assuming you are not afraid of a bit of competition :P

I look forward to speaking to you all.

Dom

Hi Dom -

I am a newbie to this forum too! If you are offering "Save the Date" magnets (wedding themed" or anything remotely weddingy could you drop me a line?

Thanks.

Hello and welcome to the Forum.

The best advice i can give you is be very careful what you put on your magnets. My next door neighbours have started up a cottahe industry producing fridge magnets and keyrings and when you go on their website you find that thay have a great number of images obviously ripped off from the internet - photos of Will Young, repros of the Harry Potter film posters and up till recently they had crest and images from a number of football clubs including Man U, Rabgers and Celtic.

I wouldn't like to be in their shoes if the copyroght police come calling.
