Product & textile designers

Hi All,

I need to get in touch with product and textile designers on this forum. If you specialise in designing products (from handbags to lamps to anything) then please PM me. If you know of someone in this field, please either PM me or post their details here.

You can be a student of design or a small business. This is not applicable to people who design brochures and/or web sites (sorry).

We are planning to push cutting-edge designers forward as part of our business, so we will be making your portfolio available to large retailers, homestores, ad agencies and other big consumer brands.

Hi Jayne - Yes I did. This is something different (although it sounds similar!) I will give you all the details when it is up and running anyway - for now I am looking for more people for this other thing.

It's not really different at all, I've done textile design too and the principle is just the same. I did this as a living a while ago and kept getting ripped off by big companies, so packet it in.

The only difference is the customer brief and layout preferences. Which no doubt you would give full details of.

Oh some companies also use supplied paper, with their company logo's on for finished work to show the customer.
