Is it normal to have a confidentiality agreement for SEO services?

On few occasions I've been asked to sign an NDA or CA.

Are you the seller or the client?

Occasionally, one of my PPC prospects asks me to sign one. I've never had a problem with it. As far as I'm concerned, anything sensitive about their business is automatically confidential.

Thanks Guys.

Pity, reason I'm even considering this is it would be a prestigious client to use as testimonial, but if I'm not allowed to say who they are, I wonder if it's worth it... Oh Well, there's always the money...:D

Are you the seller or the client?
Clue could be in my signature :D:p

I have signed NDA's on many occasions, but mostly when I am working for other SEO's who don't want me mentioning their clients name.

I did have to sign them with 2 large blue chips though. (pen might have been easier come to think of it) :D

I have signed many NDA's too, like OldWelshGuy, it's usually when we are offering our services under someone else's brand.
