I have been working with an SEO company for some time. It now appears that this investment is starting to pay off. Google is picking up my website for the vast majority of the keywords that are important to me now.

So my question is. What should an SEO company concentrate upon if the target keyword is ranking between 75 - 250 for very competative keywords.

Is it just about building quality back links or is there something else?

Yeah, if the onsite stuff is fully sorted, get link building. Don't forget your conversion rates for when the big traffic kicks in, and also keep up with other marketing of your site, social media etc. But link building is what you need to really push up the ranks

edit - is the url correct? That sites not indexed and only a couple of backlinks...

I would say misspelling - check his sig...

Newbus, your site displays badly in firefox 3.6.6 under linux with noscript and flash blocked. Some text and a link to websitevoice is overlaid on your text... even allowing scripts, still get the link overlaid.

To agree with Jay, get link building. Someone once told me that 80% of your position is off-site SEO (mainly back links) but not sure how true that is.

You should be on page one for telemarketing.

I have looked at the on-page elements from a search point of view and the code looks to be optimised and keyword targeted with internal linking. You are also linking out to too many websites and this is diluting your page rank and quality score from the start. I would recommend building a good page rank and quality score and then linking to your sister sites would be more useful.

From a user point of view I would recommend removing the video that plays on page load each time; seriously it's quite annoying. Also include testimonials and news sinnepts on the homepage to build reputation.

Your backlink structure is quite weak and needs to build up to compete strongly with your competitors; also when building backlinks make sure your build links from diverse channels. Link building guidelines from the big G themselves;

Finally, keep reviewing your Webmaster Tools & Analytics data to track your improvements.

I have you on page 15 of google for "telemarketing" which is not worth much to you in terms of driving traffic, easier to find a pin in a haystack.:)

You need a mass more incoming links.

I would start geo targeting to get some meaningfull results I.E

"telemarketing city" e.t.c

I appriciate the discussion, but I am keen to gain feed back upon the SEO question on where to go next, not the presenter.

My use of a video presenter is not relevant, unless you have evidance that it is a direct obstical to the SEO objective I am looking to acheive.

I am very happy to the results of using the presenter in its precise form and the ROI has been simply extraordinary. I will continue to follow best practice with regards to split testing landing pages so we maximise conversation. The Vidoe presenter will always be part of this exercise.

Is there further feedback on how to acheive my SEO objectives?

hi,

As what most here suggested to you on what to do next, you need to do offpage optimization so the page rank of your site is increase. And through that you can also increase the traffics of your site.

thanks,

The answer to this is that your SEO company should be telling you the strategy if they are any good. The fact you have posted this seems to indicate this is not happening.

Congrats Newbus.

There isn't a one size fits all answer here, there's a couple of hundred factors to consider.. mainly what others are doing in your market/niche.

Your SEO efforts will mainly depend on what other pages are doing, and doing more of it than they.

The SEO company should be really be working a bit harder to get near to pages 1 > 3 in the Google Gods.

Mass Video Distribution, Mass Articles Distribution , Social bookmaking , Distribution blog posting ,back links , Twitter, Face Book, Back links, Back links and even more back links over time, Not all all once
Link wheeling , Mini Nets, silo article marketing, Feeds, site-map update and lots of web server monitoring for activity.

if the don't any of this ask somebody here that dose.
