Ta everyone.
Has been good already to post and read messages on the forum.
I'm now finding I have to login again each time I switch to a different forum - am I doing something wrong? or is it because I'm logging in from a different computer from the one I used when I first registered (earlier this week)?

Hi M,
there's something wierd with this forum in that it distorts and wrecks our 'cookies.' delete all UKBF cookies and login again and you should be ok.

It's because of the www. and lack of. Do as Nigel says (only this once) and you should be fine

Cookies were the answer - I enabled them for this site (on this computer - previously accessed on a different computer). That did the trick.
