Hello Everybody,
I am new to this Forum and would like to introduce myself and my business.
I am currently in the process of opening an estate agency, well to be honest I want to concentrate more on the lettings side but am offering sales aswell!
My office is currently being refurbished so I am working from home (which I always dreamed of when I was employed) it is a nightmare. I am being overrun by paperwork, files, desks etc!!
I have been working 7 days a week from 8am - past midnight!! Hence why this message is being posted so late.
Anyway as you can tell I am quite a chatterbox when I get started so I will end this message now but please contact me anytime (just to give me a break!)

I find when working from home you can easily find yorself something to do, as if your trying to prove to yourself that your not watching tv all day. it's 1:05am and im still infront of the TV...I mean PC.
Welcome to the forum

Rach,
Best of luck in your new business. Estate agency is really interesting and I should think quite a good business - afterall people are always going to need houses right?
I know what you mean too about working late it's 01.23am and I'm still up. Thinking of pulling a night shift then having a sleep tomorrow!!
But, it's all worth it!

Hi Rach
Welcome.
I second, third and fourth the comments about working late. I'm still doing the day job and setting up my business, so am often still sat at the kitchen table long after I should have gone to bed.
The one thought that keeps me going is that in the end I will be working for myself, something I have wanted to do for a very long time.

Hi Rach,
I've just spent part of my weekend doing some copywriting for a client who runs an estate/lettings agency from home, so I've been finding out just how much work is involved! It seems like a really interesting business to run too, though - I hope you have lots of luck with it!
Oh, and welcome to the forum!

Hi Rach,
Good luck with starting your agency. Hard work always pays off they say!
My best friend is a solicitor who specialises in conveyancing for residential and commercial properties. She has her own practice on the northern edge of Central London since two years.
If you'd be willing to introduce clients to her, great! I think she works by giving an introduction fee.
If you want her details, let me know by private messaging.
Good luck once again,
Rich
